Potato Can Whiten Dark Spots!!!Amazing!!!

Many of us are obsessed with flawlessly white skin, but not all of us can afford an expensive whitening products. There are several fruits, vegetables and even spices that are popular and well-known for its  whitening substances such Papaya, Calamansi and Turmeric to name a few. We are very interested to try home-made remedies that are effective and pocket friendly. But much to our amazement, do you know that Potato can be used as skin whitening as well. It is a very effective product for skin whitening because of the amazing substances found in it. Potato contains the following vitamins which helps in the nutrition of our skin:




  • Vitamin C which helps in collagen synthesis and is a vital molecule for our skin.
  • Potassium keeps cells hydrated and skin moisturized.
  • Vitamin B6 prevents the production of excess sebum and treats acne.
  • Riboflavin or Vitamin B2 or also known as water soluble to keep our skin hydrated.
  • Folate or Vitamin B9 is best for tissue growth and cell development.
  • Lack of Iron results to pale skin and dark circles.
  • Magnesium fights free radicals which causes wrinkles.

Procedure: Slice the potato about 1/4 size and gently massage onto the skin, leaving it for 10-15 minutes then rinse it off with water. Results may be achieved if done everyday.
